Our impact
A daily meal helps people stay healthier, safer and at home.
Here's what we do every week, why it matters, and exactly how it's paid for.

Staying home is healthier, and it costs far less.
Good nutrition and a daily check-in help people recover at home and avoid costly hospital or nursing-home stays.

How we're funded
Client fees, individual donors, businesses and grants pay for administration, supplies, insurance and our vehicles. Ascension St. Vincent Building Corp. donates our office space. We run just one annual appeal, a letter each November.
Funded by our community, not the government
Meals on Wheels of Evansville is not a federally funded program and does not receive federal funding. Every meal we deliver is made possible by client fees, donations and local grants.
Donations and grants nearly doubled from 2022 to 2024 (about $66K to $125K). Thank you.
